REPLY? NO!
Why should I “REPLY NOW” to an email from a UN agency that concluded claims-processing in 2005 and officially closed at the end of 2022?
Now let’s not be overly hasty here: with $10.5 million on the line, it would be foolish to dismiss this generous compensation for a claim I never filed, and a person such as the esteemed Mr Selwin Charles Hart should be given the benefit of the doubt.
I mean, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations would never do me wrong, right?
Wrong! Granted, there IS a Selwin Charles Hart but he is the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Climate Action and Just Transition. You’d think he’d want to use that exalted title in his emails.
Instead, he’s going by “Selwin Charles” and hey, what do we see when we move the cursor over his name?
Only an email address for a “jisainz” at the Ministerio de Transporte in Buenos Aires province, Argentina. Oye, no me gusta!
They say it It Takes Two to Tango but sorry Mr Under-Secretary-General, my dance card is full.
