Halls Got Balls!
Can't shake that cough? Blame Thai Halls for only putting 9 lozenges into each pack...
I've written previously about Lime Halls, and how much better-tasting the Euro-version (made in Poland, as far as I can tell) is compared to the Thai version, so I won't rehash that sound dissing I laid onto the far-inferior Thai-made variety...
But I will ADD to it! I know, I know, kicking a dead horse and flogging it when it's down and all that... but as the theme of this blog is shrinkflation, then a kick-flogging I will go!
I did not notice this extra salient point when I penned my previous putdown, probably because I didn't have both varieties on-hand.
When I laid them side by side, however... yep, would ya lookit that??
Not only are Euro Halls better tasting than Thai Halls, you get more of them per pack! One more, to be exact - 10 individual candies per pack, as one might expect.
Euro Halls give you a hefty 33.5 grams per pack, not the measly 27.9 grams offered by Thai Halls. Euro halls = over an ounce; Thai Halls = under an ounce. Sad.
I mean really now, 9 candies per pack? Who does that? Thai Halls, that's who! The only benefit I can see is that there's one less candy per pack to disappoint you.
