Lucas Unleashed

This is "Lucas", a cat I usually see when his owner walks him... yes, walks, as dog-owners do, with a leash.

Lucas isn't the only leashed cat in our community and from time to time he roams on his own, as was the case when I encountered him today.

Lucas is usually friendly but perhaps because he's alone and not under his owner's watchful eye, he's not taking any chances with me - even gave me the ol' hiss & bare-the-teeth.

No worries, we'll meet again and under more pleasant circumstances.
