Think of a teal car from the ‘Nineties and odds are, a Mustang comes to mind.

Not all of them were painted "Bright Calypso Green Clearcoat Metallic" (code PM), mind you, but plenty of the over 2.5 million 3rd-generation Mustangs made from 1979 through 1993 sported that signature blue hue we all love to rue!

How iconic was the proverbial Teal Mustang? Consider that Ford is offering an FX Package option on the 2026 Ford Mustang GT Premium that features "Adriatic Blue Metallic" paint.

Anyway, '93 was the final year for the 3rd-gen “FOx Body” Mustang and of the 115,359 produced for that model year, almost 25,000 were notchback coupes like this natty 5-speed LX 5.0.

This presentable example sold for us$25,000 at Bring A Trailer... not too shabby considering it stickered for a bit north of us$16,000 back in the day.
